Why would I want Custom Software for my business?
There are typically two approaches to introducing software into your business. Buy off of the shelf / pre built software vs Custom Software. Like everything there are pros and cons and the business needs to determine what is best. Off of the shelf typically costs more but is mostly built. The business will also need to change their process to fit the software. This can create a culture change challenge which may not be good for the business. The other con is as the business grows and evolves, the software does not evolve with it unless significant cost is incurred.

You control how it is designed and built. The cons are it will take time (typically 3-12 months) to build a solid solution that does everything you want it to do.
